Commercial Appliance Technician – Field Service

Paramount Services Ltd. is looking for a skilled and dependable Commercial Appliance Technician to join our growing Winnipeg service team.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and working independently in the field. Previous field service experience is a strong asset.

You do not need to come directly from commercial appliance repair. If your background includes commercial equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, automotive diagnostics, industrial maintenance, or mechanical equipment repair, we’d like to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial appliances and foodservice equipment.
Service commercial cooking equipment, beverage systems, and related equipment.
Complete service calls, installations, and preventative maintenance.
Use meters, gauges, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Complete accurate service reports and communicate clearly with customers.
Travel throughout Winnipeg and surrounding areas to customer sites.
Participate in ongoing manufacturer and technical training.

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of hands-on technical experience in appliance repair, field service, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, automotive diagnostics, equipment repair, or mechanical maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Good mechanical aptitude and confidence working with electrical and mechanical components.
Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively.
Professional communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
Dependable, organized, and willing to learn.

Strong Assets:

Commercial field service experience.
Commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment experience.
Refrigeration certification or experience.
Electrical apprenticeship or Journeyperson background.
Gas appliance or HVAC experience.
