Paramount Services is looking for a Level 3 Electrical Apprentice to join our growing commercial and industrial electrical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice who has developed a solid foundation in the trade and is ready to expand their technical skills while taking on increased responsibility across a variety of commercial, industrial, and service projects.
Working alongside experienced Journeyperson Electricians, you'll continue building your expertise while gaining valuable hands-on experience with more complex electrical systems and installations.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems.
  • Install conduit, cable tray, wiring, lighting, distribution equipment, panels, and electrical devices.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications with minimal supervision.
  • Perform electrical testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting using a variety of test equipment.
  • Assist with service work, renovations, tenant improvements, preventative maintenance, and new construction.
  • Support commissioning and startup of electrical systems.
  • Help mentor and work alongside junior apprentices on job sites.
  • Maintain organized work areas, tools, and materials.
  • Follow the Canadian Electrical Code and all company safety procedures.
  • Work safely in active construction and service environments, including ladders, lifts, and confined spaces when required.

What You Bring:

  • Registered Level 3 Electrical Apprentice in Manitoba.
  • Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
  • Solid understanding of electrical installations, conduit systems, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Physically capable of lifting materials, climbing ladders, and working in a variety of environments.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
