Ready to finish strong on your path to becoming a Journeyperson?

Paramount Services is seeking a Level 4 Electrical Apprentice to join our commercial and industrial electrical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced apprentice who is approaching Journeyperson certification and is ready to take on greater responsibility while working on a wide range of commercial, industrial, and service projects.
You'll work closely with our experienced electricians while independently completing installations, troubleshooting complex electrical systems, and helping mentor junior apprentices.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems.
  • Complete electrical installations with minimal supervision while ensuring work meets code and company standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical schematics.
  • Diagnose electrical issues and perform advanced troubleshooting using electrical testing equipment.
  • Install and terminate panels, transformers, motor controls, lighting systems, and distribution equipment.
  • Perform service work, preventative maintenance, renovations, and new construction.
  • Assist with commissioning, startup, and verification of completed installations.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior apprentices.
  • Maintain organized job sites while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Follow the Canadian Electrical Code and all company safety procedures.

What You Bring:

  • Registered Level 4 Electrical Apprentice in Manitoba.
  • Extensive commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and electrical installation practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Professional attitude with a commitment to safety and continuous learning.
  • Physically capable of performing all aspects of the trade.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
