We are looking for an experienced Carpenter / Handyman to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, renovations, and building maintenance, with the ability to work independently and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform commercial carpentry, renovation, and repair work.
- Install doors, hardware, trim, cabinetry, millwork, and fixtures.
- Complete framing, drywall, finishing, and general carpentry tasks.
- Perform building maintenance and general handyman services.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and site personnel.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of carpentry or handyman experience.
- Proven commercial construction experience.
- Red Seal Carpenter certification preferred, or equivalent trade certification.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and building practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with commercial tenant improvements, renovations, and maintenance projects.
- Knowledge of provincial building codes and safety regulations.
- Experience working in occupied commercial spaces.
- Forklift, aerial lift, or other construction-related certifications.
